Why We Exist

Born From Birmingham. Built For Its People.

Birmingham is the youngest city in Europe, yet its young people face some of the harshest inequalities in the country. As Birmingham City Council faces unprecedented cuts and youth services disappear, organisations like ours are needed now more than ever.

We believe every young person in Birmingham is filled with potential. We use sport as a vehicle to unlock it. From the streets of Alum Rock to Balsall Heath and everywhere in between, we're on the ground all year round making a difference.

The Club

Birmingham United FC

Birmingham United FC is a semi-professional football competing at Step 7 of the non-league pyramid, in Division 2 of the Midland Football League. With over 25 teams across elite and community pathways, and official inner-city grassroots recruitment partners of Birmingham City Academy, we have teams for all ages. We have a clear position; we are the leading football club for player development in inner-city Birmingham.
